US Treasury Suspends Unilateral Sanctions on Haiti

The US Treasury Department is suspending unilateral sanctions on Haiti, including unblocking assets and lifting restrictions on financial transfers, in light of Haiti's restored democratic government. The move also allows for the export of food and humanitarian aid to Haiti.
