USDA Finalizes Rule on Canned Peas Standards

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule revising the standards for grading canned peas in the United States. The changes, made in response to a petition from the National Food Processors Association (NFPA), aim to improve the grading process by introducing a new 'individual attributes' procedure and single letter grade designations.
