Public Mobile Services; Final Rule FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION

The Federal Communications Commission has completely revised its Rules governing the Public Mobile Services. These changes are needed to improve the organization and clarity of the Commission's Rules by eliminating out-dated provisions and unnecessary information collection requirements, streamlining and expediting licensing and processing procedures, and affording licensees greater flexibility in providing service to the public. The intent of these revisions is to stimulate economic growth and expand access to mobile radio networks and services.
