DOT Finalizes Rule for Hazardous Materials Transport in COFC and TOFC Service

The Department of Transportation has established standards for transporting hazardous materials in container-on-flatcar and trailer-on-flatcar service, eliminating the need for prior FRA approval, with the goal of increasing access to safe and effective transportation services.
