HUD Sets Guidelines for Combining HUD and Other Government Assistance in Affordable Housing Projects

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued guidelines to limit the combination of HUD assistance with other government aid in affordable housing projects, known as the 'Subsidy Layering' rule, to prevent excessive compensation to project participants.
