Revisions to Weight and Preparation Standards for Barcoded Letter Mail

The United States Postal Service is introducing a trial period allowing certain barcoded letter-size mailpieces weighing more than 3 ounces to be accepted at Barcoded rates for up to 1 year. This change is part of a revision to the Domestic Mail Manual standards, which also includes additional preparation requirements.
