US Department of Agriculture Announces Final Rule for Sugar Price-Support Program

The Commodity Credit Corporation has set the 1993-crop and 1994-crop loan rates for the Sugar Price-Support Program, which will be used to administer the program, with the national weighted-average loan rate for raw cane sugar at 18 cents per pound and for refined beet sugar at 23.62 cents per pound and 23.43 cents per pound, respectively.
