Proposed Amendment to Class E Airspace; Millington, TN

This notice proposes to amend the Class E airspace area at Memphis NAS/Millington Municipal, TN. A VOR/DME RWY 18 Standard Instrument Approach Procedure (SIAP) has been developed for Charles W. Baker Airport. Additional controlled airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface (AGL) is needed to accommodate this SIAP and for instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at the airport. If approved, the operating status of the airport will change from VFR to include IFR operations concurrent with publication of the SIAP. This amendment would also make a technical correction to the location of the Memphis NAS/Millington Municipal Airport. The correct location of the Memphis NAS/Millington Municipal Airport is Millington, TN.
