Airbus Issues Airworthiness Directive for A310 Series Airplanes to Improve Emergency Exit Door Operation

Airbus has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring the measurement of the force needed to open emergency exit doors on its A310 series airplanes, following a report of excessive force required during routine maintenance, in order to prevent impeding passenger evacuation during emergencies.
