General Dynamics Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Convair Airplanes

General Dynamics (Convair) is proposing a new airworthiness directive to address incidents involving uncommanded pitch excursions due to ice contaminated tailplane stall, which can occur during or following flight in icing conditions.
