Allison Engine Company Model 250-C40 Turboshaft Engine Receives Special Conditions for Enhanced Safety

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued special conditions for the Allison Engine Company Model 250-C40 turboshaft engine, which will have unique engine ratings and additional safety standards to meet the equivalent level of safety as the airworthiness standards of part 33 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.
