Federal Acquisition Regulation; Double-Sided Copying

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed to an interim rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to encourage contractors to maximize the use of double-sided copying on recycled paper when submitting documents related to an acquisition. This regulatory action was not subject to Office of Management and Budget review under Executive Order 12866, dated September 30, 1993.
