Utilization and Disposal of Real Property; Port Facilities

Section 2927 of Pub. L. 103-160 (November 30, 1993) amended section 203 of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, as amended, (40 U.S.C. 484) by adding a subsection (q) to provide for cost-free conveyances of Federal surplus real property suitable for use as port facilities. This regulation is required to implement the new subsection. It prescribes the method whereby affected property may be assigned to the Secretary of Transportation for subsequent conveyance for approved port facility and related economic development programs.
