U.S. Government Agencies Agree on Interim Rule to Implement Uruguay Round Trade Agreement

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on an interim rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement the renegotiated GATT Government Procurement Agreement, which becomes effective on January 1, 1996, and was not subject to Office of Management and Budget review under Executive Order 12866.
