Proposed Reporting Requirements on Video Dialtone Costs and Jurisdictional Separations for Local Exchange Carriers Offering Video Dialtone Service

On June 23, 1995, the Bureau issued an Order Inviting Comments that solicits comments on proposed reports for local exchange carriers offering video dialtone service. The proposed reports would enable the Commission to monitor video dialtone's impact on LECs cost, local telephone rates, and the assignment of costs between federal and state jurisdictions. The Bureau acted under authority delegated to it in the Video Dialtone Reconsideration Order, (FCC 94-269. 10 FCC Rcd 244, 326(1994)) which set forth accounting and reporting requirements for LECs that offer video dialtone service.
