Preemption of Local Zoning Regulations

On May 15, 1995, the Commission issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing to revise our rules regarding the preemption of local zoning regulations of satellite earth stations. The NPRM announced that the Commission would entertain petitions for declaratory relief under the current venison of the rule, on an interim basis. This notice announces the procedures under which such petition may be filed.
