This document requests comments on a petition filed by Miller Communications, Inc., requesting the allotment of Channel 247A to Taylorville, Illinois, as that community's third local FM service. Channel 247A can be allotted to Taylorville in compliance with the Commission's minimum distance separation requirements with a site restriction of 7.9 kilometers (4.9 miles) south, in order to avoid a short-spacing to Station WHMS(FM), Channel 248B, Champaign, Illinois. The coordinates for Channel 247A at Taylorville, Illinois, are North Latitude 39-28-44 and West Longitude 89-18-36.
