EPA to Determine Adequacy of State/Tribal Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Permit Programs

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is required to determine whether States have adequate 'permit' programs for Municipal Solid Waste Landfills (MSWLFs) under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The agency will approve adequate State/Tribal MSWLF permit programs as applications are submitted.
