FBI to Assume New Law Enforcement Role Under DOJ Regulations

The Department of Justice has amended its organization regulations to add a new function for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which will oversee law enforcement responsibilities previously assigned to the Attorney General under the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act.
