EPA Lodges Final Judgment by Consent on CERCLA Site

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has lodged a final judgment by consent with the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) regarding a contaminated site. The EPA has reached a settlement with the site's owner, Occidental Petroleum Corporation (OxyChem), to clean up the site and provide compensation to affected parties.
