Final Methodology for Implementation of the Statutory General Funding Preference for Selected Grant Programs Under Titles VII and VIII of the Public Health Service Act for Fiscal Year 1994

The Health Professions Education Extension Amendments of 1992 and the Nurse Education and Practice Improvement Amendments of 1992 authorized a general funding preference for selected grant programs in titles VII and VIII of the Public Health Service Act. This preference was implemented in Fiscal Year 1993 following public comment and modifications to the initial proposed methodology.
