Coast Guard Proposes Permanent Safety and Security Zone on Lake Michigan

The U.S. Coast Guard proposes to establish a permanent safety and security zone on Lake Michigan, surrounding Merrill C. Meigs Airfield, to safeguard vessels and waterfront facilities against sabotage and accidents.
