Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products: Decision and Order Granting a Waiver From the Furnace Test Procedure to Evcon Industries, Inc.

The Department of Energy has granted Evcon Industries, Inc. a waiver from the existing furnace test procedure, allowing the company to calculate Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) for its gas furnaces differently. This decision affects Evcon's AGU, BGU, and BGD series gas furnaces.
