CFTC and SEC Extend Comment Periods for Customer Margin Rules and Securities Investor Protection Act

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Securities and Exchange Commission are extending the comment period for customer margin rules and the Securities Investor Protection Act of 1970 to December 5, 2001, from the original November 5, 2001 deadline.
