Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Physical Protection Regulations for Nuclear Power Reactors

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is amending its physical protection regulations for operating nuclear power reactors to enhance reactor safety by protecting against the use of vehicles to gain unauthorized proximity to vital areas and preventing damage from large explosive charges.
