Federal Acquisition Regulation to Include Child Care Services Definition and Background Checks

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on an interim rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation, requiring contracts for child care services to include criminal history background checks of employees, as mandated by 42 U.S.C. 13041.
