FCC Revises Radio Ownership Limits to Promote Minority and Small Business Broadcasters
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has revised its national radio ownership limits to allow minority broadcasters to own a majority stake in up to 25 AM and 25 FM stations, and non-minority broadcasters to hold a minority stake in an additional five AM and five FM stations. This change aims to provide greater opportunities for minority and small business broadcasters to combine resources and expand their reach.
