EPA Receives Notification for Field Testing of Genetically Engineered Microbial Pesticide

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has received a notification from American Cyanamid Company of New Jersey to conduct small-scale field testing of a genetically engineered microbial pesticide targeting pests such as the cabbage looper and tobacco budworm on lettuce, cabbage, and leafy vegetables in Florida and Texas.
