EPA Cancels TBTF Product Registrations and Prohibits Sale and Use

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a cancellation order for products containing Tributyltin Fluoride (TBTF) by Atochem North America, Inc., citing the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The EPA has also prohibited the sale, distribution, and use of existing stocks of TBTF products by Atochem.
