Medicaid Program to Set Vaccine Administration Charges Under Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has published interim regional maximum charges for administering pediatric vaccines to eligible children under the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, allowing states to either use these charges or set their own fees, while also providing an option for states to establish lower fees if they can ensure equal access to immunizations for Medicaid-eligible children.
