Rural Telemedicine Grant Program

The Office of Rural Health Policy, HRSA, announces that applications are being accepted for Rural Telemedicine Grants to (1) develop a base of information for conducting a systematic evaluation of telemedicine systems serving rural areas; and (2) facilitate development of rural health care networks through the use of telemedicine. Awards will be made from funds appropriated under Public Law 103-333 (HHS Appropriation Act for FY 1995). Grants for these projects are authorized under section 301 of the Public Health Service Act.

Proposed Data Collection Submitted for Public Comment and Recommendations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce public burden and maximize the utility of government information, invites the general public and other federal agencies the opportunity to comment on a proposed information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This notice invites comment on a proposed information collection project titled Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement. The Public Health Crisis Response (PHCR) Cooperative Agreement provides rapid funding to help existing public health programs respond to major public health emergencies and crises.
