US Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes Endangered and Threatened Status for California Plants
The US Fish and Wildlife Service proposes endangered status for the San Francisco lessingia (Lessingia germanorum) and threatened status for the San Bruno Mountain manzanita (Arctostaphylos imbricata), two plants from California, due to habitat loss and degradation caused by human activities such as development, invasive species, and climate change.
