Notification and Permit Processing

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) of the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) extends until February 27, 1995, the public comment period on the proposed rule published in the October 26, 1994, Federal Register (59 FR 53884). This will provide more time in which to comment on the proposed rule.
