NHTSA Finalizes Rule on Warning Devices for Large Trucks and Buses

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has amended Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 125, Warning Devices, to only apply to devices without self-contained energy sources used in buses and trucks weighing over 10,000 lbs, providing manufacturers with greater design flexibility and regulatory relief.
