NHTSA Corrects Error in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for Rear Seat Safety Belts

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has corrected a typographic error in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, which had incorrectly required the installation of Type 2 safety belts in rear outboard designated seating positions, instead of Type 1 safety belts.
