US Department of Agriculture Implements Rule for Forfeiture of Non-Food Items in Food Stamp Program

The US Department of Agriculture has implemented a new rule that allows for the forfeiture and denial of property rights for non-food items exchanged for food stamps, in accordance with the Food Stamp Act of 1977 and amendments made in 1980.
