Regulatory Proposal to Allow Humane Treatment of Test Animals in Vaccine Testing

The proposed amendment to regulations would enable the humane treatment of sick or injured test animals in vaccine testing, eliminating unnecessary animal suffering and providing an option for the treatment or destruction of animals that exhibit adverse reactions or show signs of illness.
