Calgene, Inc. Petition for Nonregulated Status of Genetically Engineered Canola Approved

The US government has determined that certain genetically engineered canola lines are no longer considered regulated under its regulations, following an evaluation of data submitted by Calgene, Inc. and public comments received in response to a 1994 notice.
