US Department of Agriculture and Bureau of Land Management to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Phosphate Leases in Caribou National Forest, Idaho

The US Department of Agriculture's Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management will jointly prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for two proposed phosphate leases in the Caribou National Forest, Idaho. The leases would allow a lessee to mine phosphate ore, but would require a plan for reclamation and environmental assessment.
