Northeast Multispecies Fishery; Public Hearings

The New England Fishery Management Council plans to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for proposed Amendment 7 to the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan, following a recommendation from the Northeast Fisheries Science Center's Stock Assessment Workshop to reduce fishing mortality to near zero to prevent cod collapse and improve yellowtail flounder stock rebuilding.
