Letters of Authorization To Take Marine Mammals

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has issued letters of authorization for nonlethal take of polar bears and Pacific walruses in the Beaufort Sea and Chukchi Sea, allowing oil and gas industry activities with conditions to minimize impacts on these species.
