Boeing Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for 737 Airplanes
The Boeing Company has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain 737 airplanes to improve the reliability of the cabin altitude warning system, following a report of a flightcrew not receiving a warning during a lack of cabin pressurization event. The directive aims to prevent flightcrew incapacitation due to hypoxia and loss of control of the airplane.
