Petroleum Reduction and Alternative Fuel Consumption Requirements for Federal Fleets

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking public comment on proposed regulations to reduce petroleum consumption and increase alternative fuel consumption for Federal fleets. The DOE is considering whether to include alternative fuel consumption by exempt vehicles and low-speed electric vehicles in the fiscal year 2005 baseline.
