Energy Conservation Program: Test Procedures for Electric Motors and Small Electric Motors

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has proposed changes to the test procedures for electric motors and small electric motors to improve energy efficiency standards. The new rules will take effect 180 days after publication and will require manufacturers to demonstrate compliance with the updated standards.
