U.S. Department of Labor Requests Comments on Form ETA 9033 and ETA 9033-A for Longshore Activities

The U.S. Department of Labor is seeking public comments on two information collections, Form ETA 9033 and Form ETA 9033-A, which are used by employers to request permission to use foreign crewmen for longshore activities in U.S. ports and Alaska, respectively. The forms are set to expire on December 31, 2016, and the Department aims to reduce paperwork burden through a preclearance consultation program.
