NMFS Announces Public Scoping Meetings for Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Management Measures

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is holding public meetings to gather input on potential management measures for Atlantic bluefin tuna, with the goal of determining the best approach to achieve management objectives while providing flexibility for future management, as outlined in the 2006 Consolidated Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Fishery Management Plan and relevant federal laws.
