NMFS Re-Opens Public Comment Period for Oregon Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is extending the public comment period for four Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans (HGMPs) submitted by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for the rearing of Pacific salmon and steelhead in the Sandy River subbasin, in accordance with the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
