FCC Expands Microwave Spectrum for Wireless Backhaul and Rural Broadband Access

The FCC initiates a proceeding to ease regulatory restrictions on using microwave spectrum for wireless backhaul and other communications, aiming to increase efficient use of spectrum and promote access to backhaul solutions in rural areas. The proposed rule changes will benefit both existing and new users of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint services.
