EPA Agrees to Respond to U.S. Steel Permit Petition Under Proposed Consent Decree

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has agreed to respond to a petition filed by American Bottom Conservancy in a lawsuit against U.S. Steel Corporation's Granite City Works facility, in accordance with the Clean Air Act, by December 17, 2010, or within 30 days of the entry date of the proposed consent decree.
