SBA to Make ALP Express Pilot Permanent

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is set to make permanent the increased delegated authorities for 504 loans of $500,000 or less, which were initially introduced under the ALP Express Pilot for Certified Development Companies (CDCs) approved for the Accredited Lenders Program (ALP). This move comes after the successful pilot program, which was initially set to expire on September 30, 2025, but will now become a permanent part of the 504 Loan Program following supportive public comments and no objections to the proposed rulemaking.
